Our annual Christmas Party will be held on Saturday, December 21st at the Shrine Center, 25100 SW Parkway Ave., Wilsonville. It’s later than usual due to schedule conflicts, but it’ll be a very festive way to celebrate the Holiday season! This date also allows us to have our party in the beautiful downstairs ballroom. The Shrine Center is conveniently located just off of I-5 in North Wilsonville (north of Costco - see our website activities calendar for a map.) Social hour starts at 6:00 PM, and dinner will be about 7:15.

We’ll have a no-host bar with beer, wine and mixed drinks.  Our Shriner friend Ralph Jubb will once again prepare everything for dinner.  If you’d like, please feel free to bring hors d’oevres or a dessert – they won’t be provided by the Shriners.  We always end up with a wonderful assortment of both.

The room rental will again be waived for us, and all labor (room setup and teardown, bartending, and cooking/serving) will be donated by the Shriners. In return, the Shriners ask that you bring a cash or check donation of any amount for the “Ladder of Smiles” (the charity of the Association of Shrine Oriental Bands of North America, 100% of all donations directly benefit the hospitals.) Or if you prefer, bring a new unwrapped toy (no stuffed animals please – they are not allowed) which will be taken to the Portland Shriners Children’s Hospital and given to the kids.  The Shriners will also provide the food to us at cost, which will be paid for by PTOA.  There is no charge to PTOA members to attend the party.

We had a terrific raffle last year, so we again ask people to bring raffle items, just like at the monthly meetings. All raffle proceeds will be given to the Shriners – last year $622.00 was raised just from the raffle.  So please bring a raffle item with you if you can.

PLEASE RSVP to me (email HERE  or 503-seven five seven-6532) so we can make sure that we have enough food and places to sit.

We hope to see you there!
